Final Paper Submission

Important Information for Authors

Once you have been notified that your digest paper has been accepted to present at ITEC Asia-Pacific, the authors will be required to prepare a "Carmera-ready Manuscript" and submit the manuscript to our final submission system. Please note that due to technical issues of the submission system, the final manuscript submission deadline has been extended to 7th May 2018. The template for "Camera-ready Manuscript" can be downloaded here.

Papers are limited to eight (8) pages and must conform to the IEEE two-column format for conference papers. Submissions exceeding eight (8) pages will not be accepted for publication. Please also note that upon submission, no further changes can be made.

To comply with the IEEE paper requirements, all authors must include the appropriate copyright clearance code notice on the bottom of the first page of the paper as detailed below.

  • For papers in which all authors are employed by the US government, the copyright notice is: U.S. Government work not protected by U.S. copyright.
  • For papers in which all authors are employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, and Australia), the copyright notice is: 978-1-5386-5782-9/18/$31.00 ©2018 Crown.
  • For papers in which all authors are employed by the European Union, the copyright notice is: 978-1-5386-5782-9/18/$31.00©2018 European Union.
  • For all other papers the copyright notice is: 978-1-5386-5782-9/18/$31.00 ©2018 IEEE.

Electronic File Requirements

All final papers must be converted using PDFexpress from the following link, www.pdf-express.org.
You will need to register at IEEE PDF eXpress and use conference id [43337XP] to convert your file to an acceptable PDF file.
For the first time IEEE PDF Express users, please select "New Users - Click here" link.

All accepted and presented papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings, and included in the IEEE Xplore® online digital library. Therefore, the authors must ensure that the final manuscript meets all IEEE requirements to be included in the IEEE Xplore®. Failure to embed and subset fonts is the biggest obstacle to PDF compliance with IEEE Xplore®. Papers failing to meet IEEE Xplore® PDF requirements will not be included in IEEE Xplore®.

IEEE Copyright Form

All authors will receive an email providing a link to the online electronic Copyright Form (eCF) wizard, as well as a unique login name and password to access their own copyright forms. When an author completes the online copyright transfer process and submits the form, he/she will receive an automated confirmation email letting him/her know that the transfer has been completed successfully.

Failure to submit a signed electronic Copyright Form will result in the paper not being published in IEEE Xplore®.
